Questions (FAQ): 
- What hard drives do I need? Any laptop hard drive (2.5" size) will work. The hard drive has to have an IDE/ATA interface.
- Will it work with a desktop PC?  Yes indeed this enclosure works with any computer, desktop or Laptop, Apple MACS and even UNIX Boxes... As long as your computer has a USB port. 
- Does it need a power supply?  No ! It draws its power from the USB port. Just plug it in the USB port and it will be powered and ready to use. 
- How small is it?  As you can see from the pictures, the unit is really small, it can easily fit in a shirt pocket. It only weighs in at 150g.
